Setting up Kudos takes six steps. Nothing is sent to any of your clients until you finish the last one.

Setting up

Connect Xero: Step 1 of setting up Kudos, and the shortest. Two minutes.
Find your Google listing: Step 2 of setting up Kudos. Two minutes, and one of those should be spent checking you picked the right one.
Where your review requests come from: Step 3 of setting up Kudos. It has the most moving parts of the six, because one of the two paths through it involves changing your DNS.
Your feedback inbox: Step 4 of setting up Kudos. Two minutes, most of it waiting for an email.
Permission to email your clients: Step 5 of setting up Kudos. It takes about five minutes, and four of those are reading.
Go live: Step 6, the last one. From here Kudos starts asking your clients for reviews.

What your clients actually receive: Not a setup step. This is the page to read before you switch Kudos on, and the one to forward to a partner or principal who wants to know exactly what is going out under the practice's name.
